p. 1-16, 19-44: Special Orders, No. 95-150, July 1, 1868 - December 29, 1868. p. 45-87: Special Orders, No. 1-67, January 5, 1869 - August 30, 1869. This book consists of special orders which were issuances deemed not of sufficient import to warrant promulgation to the garrison as a whole. Special orders convey instructions to individuals or small groups in such matters as the assignment or relief of soldiers from duty, their transfer to other positions, assignments to special duties, and the granting of leaves of absence.
