Proceedings of Post Councils of Administration, October 30, 1864 - September 14, 1867
The transcripts of the proceedings in this volume are arranged chronologically. Post councils of administration were composed of several officers who were directed to meet periodically for the purpose of appointing and tazing the post sutler, fixing prices on goods sold at the post, appointing post chaplains, and auditing the accounts of the post treasurer. Accompanying each proceeding is a copy of the general or special order authorizing the council to meet.
